DEFYND currently uses browser storage for consent and essential preferences. Optional analytics will only activate after permission where consent is required.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can remember information on your device. This policy refers to both as “browser technologies.”
2. What DEFYND uses
Essential
defynd_consent_v1 is stored in local storage after you choose “Accept all” or “Essential only.” It records your choice, the policy version, and the time saved so the consent panel does not appear on every visit. It remains until you clear site data or reopen Cookie settings and make a new choice.
Optional analytics
DEFYND may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand page performance, traffic sources, feature usage, and errors. Where consent is required, these technologies will not be activated unless you choose “Accept all.” This site does not currently use advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.
Infrastructure
Our hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, may process technical information such as IP address, request details, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Some strictly necessary technologies may be exempt from consent requirements.
3. Your choices
Choose “Accept all” to permit optional analytics or “Essential only” to decline them. You can change your selection at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also delete browser storage using your browser controls; doing so will cause the consent panel to appear again.
4. Changes and contact
We will update this page if the browser technologies we use change. Questions may be sent to privacy@defynd.me.
